Covid-19 Update
During the ongoing pandemic we are taking this opportunity to remind people of our current procedures:-
People are free to move home, however the process of finding and moving into a new home is different, as those involved in the process need to adapt practices and procedures to ensure that the risk of spreading coronavirus is reduced as far as possible. It is vital that everyone Stay’s Safe and Alert.
We’d like to take this opportunity to outline our new practices following government guidance;
As a viewer:
Initial viewings should be done virtually wherever this is possible; we have recorded virtual tours for most of our properties now.
We will only book a viewing for applicants who are proceedable- if your house is not on the market and sold stc we will not be able to physically show you properties.
All physical viewings should be with the buyers/tenants and limited to two members of the same household and for a MAXIMUM of 15 minutes. Open house viewings will not take place.
When physically viewing properties, where possible, you should avoid touching surfaces, wash your hands regularly, and bring your own hand sanitiser. If you have no alternative but to bring small children, you should try to keep them from touching surfaces and ensure they wash their hands regularly.
Our employees are wearing PPE on appointments, we therefore ask all clients to provide and wear a face mask and gloves as a minimum- you will be refused viewing if you do not turn up wearing these.
As a vendor/ landlord:
If people are being shown around your current home, you should open windows and all internal doors prior to the viewing. Please ensure surfaces, such as door handles, are cleaned after each viewing with standard household cleaning products.
As most people choose to, we recommend that you vacate your property whilst viewings are taking place in order to minimise your contact with those not in your household.
Anyone involved in any aspect of the home moving process should practice social distancing in line with public health advice.
We kindly ask that you provide a place for viewers to wash/ sanitize hands.
Everyone involved in the moving process must follow social distancing advice to minimize the spread of the virus. It goes without saying if you have symptoms of Covid 19 please inform us to cancel any appointments and self isolate for 14 days.
